Torrisi's Delights Pty Ltd in Windsor is a cozy combination of a cafe, Italian grocery store, and patisserie that comfortably blends casual dining with a slice of authentic Italian home baking. Located at the quieter end of Rosemount Terrace where it meets Eildon Rd, this spot attracts locals looking for a relaxed coffee break or a sweet pick-me-up any time of the day.

The cafe side offers a casual vibe with outdoor seating that suits a leisurely morning coffee or a gentle afternoon pause. The coffee here — featuring Merlo beans — tends to be smooth and well-prepared, often praised for its consistency, with baristas who welcome you with a warm, inviting smile. It’s the kind of place locals choose to start their day or catch up with friends over a latte or cappuccino in a calm setting.

What really stands out at Torrisi's is their commitment to traditional Italian patisserie, with specialties you won’t easily find elsewhere in Brisbane’s northern suburbs. The display is filled with richly crafted delights such as pistachio-filled cannoli, brioche stuffed with custard or Nutella, and a rotating selection of cakes including lemon almond and strawberry pistachio. Many of the sweet treats, from oversized arancini balls to panini and delicate almond or hazelnut biscuits, are made fresh daily at their Strathpine kitchen and brought over each morning.

Visitors appreciate the generous portions and authentic flavors that speak to genuine Italian recipes rather than commercial shortcuts. The atmosphere leans towards a small neighbourhood gem rather than a bustling urban cafe, making it an ideal spot for those who want a quiet moment to enjoy rich pastries and thoughtful coffee away from the crowds. Street parking nearby and some outdoor seating make it accessible for a quick stop or a casual sit-down.

Families, coffee lovers, and anyone with a sweet tooth looking for a genuine taste of Italy in Windsor will find Torrisi’s appealing. Mornings and early afternoons tend to be the best times to come by, especially if you want to experience the full range of freshly made patisserie or grab breakfast items like bacon and eggs or their signature “Buongiorno” plate. Whether you’re picking up a takeaway tiramisu or settling in with a freshly made cannoli, this spot quietly earns its loyal following through consistent quality and a comfortable, unpretentious setting.

This is our favourite bakery in the Northern suburbs. The pistachio croissants are to die for. And the arancini are huge and very yummy. We recently ordered a hazelnut chocolate birthday cake and it was perfection. We have so many items we still want to try and we happily drive 4 suburbs over to get to the Strathpine store. It's probably good for my waistline that we don't live closer.

What a delight! From the moment I stepped in I was smiling from all the baked artwork the variety of fresh and sweets were wonderful. Never seen baked goods like this in my life. Hot food was available like lasagne etc but I was taken away by the cakes. Latte I ordered was made perfectly and was Merlo coffee my favourite. The lady serving had a warm smile Ordered takeaway tiramisu which we later enjoyed at home. It was bliss. The lemon curd almond cake what a combination, love lemon so this was a pure treat. Mini Doughnuts were enjoyed by my kids thank you! Keep doing what you’re doing Torrisi’s because it’s pretty perfecto! We will be back -highly recommended to all! Must try granita next time.

Torrisi's Delights is an amazing little cafe and patisserie with totally genuine and freshly made Italian food and cakes from scratch. Every morning the beautiful food get delivered from the main shop and kitchen located at Strathpine. Cakes, cannoli, arancini are made with traditional real recipes from Italy. There are chairs and tables outside, very cozy; parking is available, also in the building just before the café. Great for take away too and enjoy at home or with your friends. Personnel is great and friendly, orders are taken for catering for many celebrations. Highly recommended!

A perfect café to enjoy some quiet time. The cappuccino was smooth, and the pastries were delicious. It was my first time trying pistachio cream, and I was really satisfied with it. I’d recommend it to friends who want to try Italian desserts. The barista was also very friendly and welcoming.

Had Brontë sandwich $16 which had mortadella and the Porchetta sandwich $17 both tasty, warm and comforting. Would definitely come for those again. Also had meatballs $20 which came with toasted bread but would have liked to be a bit saucier to mop up with the bread. The chocolate pistachio cake was very rich. Also came in pistachio & strawberry flavour and pistachio only flavour. Lots of other yummy looking cakes in the fridge. I saw lots of other people at the cafe were having the hazelnut cake so that one must be good. The arancini’s looked delicious and huge size. We also got a few of the small fried donuts to take home to have with tea later.

Just wow!! I heard about Torrisi's on Tik Tok and had to stop for a quick bite, and boy was it soooo worthwhile. A very accurately titled cafe, it is safe to say I was thoroughly delighted. I tried a vanilla donut, a crispella with apple and what I believe was a Pasta di Mandoria (I didn't ask, I just bought!). The vanilla donut was so fresh, with a beautiful dough that had a soft inside with a lightly crisp outside with an incredible vanilla flavoured filling that I could eat a whole bucket of, given the opportunity. The crispella was gorgeous, and not overly sweet. The perfect treat for someone who loves donuts but doesn't have the biggest sweet tooth. And the Pasta di Mandoria/ icing sugar cookie... Well.. I hoped to just try a bite and save the rest for dessert tonight, but I stood no chance against the wonderful flavours and textures of this cookie. I can't even describe it, you just have to try one yourself! The staff and what I assume was the owner were very friendly and welcoming. You can tell how much pride they take in the food, and it is very well earned! I will be back to try more!

On Sunday we stopped in and was delighted to try the freshly made Cannoli. Purchased all four flavors. Absolutely loved them all. Will be back for more.
